I don't seem to be having much luck this year but would still like to do my best with what I have
here are the choices
http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=140388
this one is 5 day's old growing slow but on level ground on the bottom off my hill garden. I used a lot of pollen on this one. it is a dead head vine which is 11' main 3' side not very thick of vine but can see it thickening just upstream of fruit.

this one is also 5 days old but up hill on unlevel ground on a medium vine 8' main 8'side which is still growing. I used a fair amount of pollen but as you may see the belly button is already curving to one side slightly.

Finally this one is 6 day's old on a large vine that cracked 1/3 of the way through about 1' below this. the vine is 2' main 12' side I barely pollenated this one at all due to cracked vine as well up hill on unlevel ground.
I don't have a choice for main vine and will obviosley give another week before deciding but any insight other than my own would be welcomed.

#1-11'main, 3'ft side...done (cracked vine and irregular shaped fruit already, it's a no-brainer, would you like to know how to mix 20-20-20 as well?:o). Cut the other ones off, when ya know it's pollinated, you're runnin' out of time dagnabbit, you're gonna be buying me lobster for the next 6 months!!
