I've noticed in a lot of diaries some really huge pumpkins are still almost white at 300+ pounds. My pumpkin is growing ok but starting to turn yellow at day 15. Is that normal or sign of fruit starting to mature early?

no pumpkins mature at 15 days old ! It could be a sign of a bright orange pumpkin though !

I agree, you are going to have a nice orange one.

Could also be sunburn if you have been having hot sunny days and do not have the pumpkin shaded.

Sweet! I was hoping to get a good orange color. That's a relief.

Trail, I am in the same boat. Mine is the same color at about day 14. It's still growing. I think it is just the plant. Check out this diary from 2008 and look at the 1290 pumpkin. It's yellow\orange from early on and turns out great.
