Well I learned a lesson today on what to look for when it comes to svb. I thought the stump was rotting on one vine well I saw no harm in cutting in to investigate because I read on here that the brown stuff had to go anyway . Dug out 4 larvae after quit a bit of surgery I got it all cut out I hope .Well upon further inspection I found they were also on in the stumps of the other two right where the cot leaves were is there a reason they attack this area. Its my first year boy have I got some lessons school of hard knocks lol

After I did the cutting I sprayed them with 10% bleach and some spray on fungicide an covered the stumps with little tables .Right thing to do ? Its no big deal my first plants were flooded 6/12 so no fruit set yet but I was still looking forward to halloween punkins they may still make it though .
