Hail is very rare though there will always be winds here.

I got wind and rain here. Snapped my giant sunflower in half, blew around a few plants but i think everything is ok.

Yeah, here on the Il/Mo border we got pounded. Lots of leaves snapped or were shredded up. Fortunately no hail.

Here is a weather man sulution! I use this when i'm out chasing storms. Take some 2X4 and chicken wire! It will save your windows and pumpkins! Pretty much make a long box (rectangle), streach out some chicken wire on top and on the sides as a shield, and use it only when storms come.. The thicker the wire, the more it can hold up.

It hit here too, David. Our patch looked like a corn field with a big round crop circle in it. Jason said it best-very discouraging. We hope you and your families are ok- that's the most important thing.
