Just got home and found my patch soaked and my latest pollination has a slight split near the blossom end,not having luck keeping these things from aborting as it is so this one is at 22 feet and at the end of the patch with nothing but a real nice salad patch, I turned the water off, apparently the timer for the misters didn't turn off all the way and it's been going since yesterday @#$%&#$% ok now I feel better, hope it doesn't offend

N F. maybe try setting one on a sidevine back a few feet. and train that vine to be the new main vine ? By cutting off the vines ahead of it..

It'll set you back a bit but like Bill said set another on a side vine and train a new main pruin the others to direct the energy to the new main. Dont give up hope quite yet. A lot of people have had issues with aborts. Here in Southern New England we have a huge critter issue. Keep growin.

I had a similiar issue with a stem break and was forced to set at +25 feet and a sidevine at 25 feet. Both are growing good. Don't give up yet.

That timer was an Orbit water master, bad thing is I had already bought a nelson that has misting cycles and all from Tom Privatera and never got around to changing them out yet, well it's done now, that pollination that split was just superficial and seems to be coming out of it.
