Lost my balance in the patch today and clipped the blossom button right off the pumpkin, will there be any consequences, of course it had to be my best growing pumpkin!

Keep an eye on it in case it rots.

I had to cut mine off because it was molding and slimy because I didn't know that I should remove the blossum the day after pollination. I treated with 6% peroxide and captan(fungicide) and it healled just fine.

12345,,, consequences is that you should have drank one more extra beer in the patch, because if you had you would have lost your balance away from that blossom end instead of into it,,, and you wouldn't even be posting this,,,lol.
Seriously though, put some daconil on it, nothing to worry about.
