Hell, Mi

I tried this last week and it worked GREAT! I took a old towel on a broom stick, mixed roundup 1/2 strenght to 4 gal water. Dipped the towel in and let it run off for a few, then dragged the towel around the plant. 100% eliminating the chances of spray drift. When I compare the plant that is weeded by hand/action hoe to mopped its not even close. Hillybilly mop wins

Also known as wick application. See the label of Round Up Pro for detailed rate directions. A rubber glove and sponge work well also.

Now that's something worth coming here for! Wished I'd read this before I went out and hand weeded all day. Did you take that towel under the canopy or just around the perimeter?

You can also rubberband or tie a towel to the end of a conventional spray tip, BF

I got to try this as soon as it stops raining . How close to the vines can you get?

Snake, I zip tied strips of a towel onto the end of my backback sprayer wand last night, this worked better than the mop! (more constant & less work) Yes,you can go right under the canopy and next to the vine. Dave
