My uncle's plant has developed a leaf shape that looks like the attached posting from a few years back on Alun's 1062 Rivard plant. What was the answer on this?

Had this happen my 1385 Jutras clone, probably stress related. it has since gone past it and is throwing regular leaves again.

I don't know why...but its not too uncommon and many times the leaf grows out of it later on as the leaf fills out.
