Around the 15th of July. Is it too late for anything over 1000lbs assuming an ideal situation.

Nic, I did a quick search on the AGGC & found 14 pumpkins pollinated July 10th or later just in the state of Ohio.

Yeah I looked at the AGGC and saw that a 1500 lb pumpkin was grown in Ohio and pollinated July 15.

Assuming your weighoff is around October 1, you still have 70 to 80 days of growing, and if you average 15 lbs/day, you can do at least 11 lbs.

Eh, see if you can beat me in pollination date. I swear, if I'm the third, second, or the dead last one to pollinate on this site for the THIRD year in a row I don't know what I'll do...

I might be a strong contender in the "last one on the site to pollinate" division.

Well my plant is going to set something if it wants to or not. LOL I don't get why the plant does not want to set anything I mean how does it expect to pass on its genes without seeds.
