Similiar to the abnormal posting below I have had several abnormal blossoms open up, the most recent had only two "normal" looking lobes and the other half of the blossom end was covered with tiny seeds where the other lobes should have been. I pollinated the lobes anyways but has anyone had experiences with this before and if so have such pumpkins had the potential to grow to a competitive size. Thanks

Thad Starr's 1528 had seeds in the lobe. Didn't seem to overly effect that pumpkin from what I heard.

I had one that only had 2 lobes, no seeds or deformity just 2 normal looking lobes. Weird Tammy

I grew my 1172 last year with seeds in the blossom and 1 lobe was deformed. The pumpkin ended looking normal with no problems. The blossom end was 8 -9 inch's thick.

Thanks for the input folks, this will help in my final decision to either keep or cull. Best of luck to all of you this season
