Is there a way to post pics in message? Or do I need to start a diary to do that? I can link to an outside image hosting site as well.

No, but starting a diary is easy and requires no more (probably less) effort than uploading an image to photobucket or tinypic.

You can't post the pic, but if you are just wanting to use a pic to reference a question, you can post a web address for someone to copy and paste into their browser to assist them in answering your question.

I tried setting jup a diary, but no worky worky. Do I need to be a premium memebr to do so?

No premium membership required. At the top right go to the "Select Destination" drop down menu and pick "Grower Diaries". When the page loads you will see a box on the top right which says "Show All 2010 Diaries" and "Submit to Your Own Diary"

Pick "Submit To Your Own Diary" and use the "Choose File" button to locate the picture you want to upload from your computer.

If that doesn't work then I would use a different browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer and try again.

When you upload pics to the diary, they have to be approved first so you will not see immediately.
