mostly new growth getting black and crisp ,any suggestions ? thanks gene.

post a pick. for better diagnosiese. But quick answer heat welting. Mist or water will help or shade if possible. Or just try and ride it out. If not to bad it will come back in the cool of the night

thankyou very much! I guess it"s common since that temps this high are going to cook new leaves it,s been very hot and dry for awhile.

cover ends of vines with something to keep it shaded. i use a plastic lawn chair over the main vines new growth

Lay off the fungicides, insecticides & ferts during extreme heat they will add to the burning of your leaves. If you keep a few suckers (tertiary) buds you can use them to fill in the fried areas of your vines.

Big issue this season for sure...get some remay or floating row cover material and drape it over the new growth area...helps a lot...good luck! Duff
