When spraying with a power sprayer, wheather it is a stihl, echo, solo, or a hudson like I have. How do you control not spraying the vine tips when misting?
I have already lost most vine tips and dont want to lose any more from spraying with insecticides/fungicides/fertilizers.
My plants are not big, but the pump sprayer is getting old and I want to do a good job of getting the underside of the leaves.
I will be spraying roughly at 8pm.

Well i finally used the hudson tonight. Had it on the lowest setting (1). Didnt want to tear the leaves off my small plants.
Let me tell you, definately worth the money. It may not be a stihl but 2 gallons fish/seaweed gone in less then 5 minutes.
Tomorrow evening, I plan on using it for my Triazicide and Daconil Spray.

jeremy, drop the end of the nozzle below the leaf canopy about a foot past the any leaf 10" or smaller leaf and then pull the trigger for more juice and power so the vine tips and small leaves don't get blasted. that way all the vines and undersides of leaves get covered nice. then finish around the perimeters above the plant and then step way back or come from an angle depending if fenced or not for room and do not blast the tips but right above that for top coverage near the smaller tips and leaves. i ahve also burnt a tip off before and have pelted one with loose dirt like sand blasting before. go easy near the tips and small leaves is what i do.
