How long do I have to wait after pollination to use a high nitrogen fertilizer again? The plant is starting to look like it really needs some nitrogen.

once you have a set on your plant, it will require less nitro and want more potassium. I would give at least 10 day's after set and not juice her to much. "Less is more"

In my situation, I overloaded N2 over the last week or 2. My soil test showed very low n2, so I had to take a chance.

I will be foliar feeding tonight again with fish/seaweed. So far, no aborts, chosen fruit are growing well (so far) for my small plants.

I know I am not supposed to add nitrogen this time of the year. But the plant is almost deficient.

When I go to the store, What should I ask for?
I have water soluble kelp and I also have Neptune's fish and seaweed. Thanks Nic. You are obviously the right guy to ask about nitrate.

This is kind of off the subject but brought up a similar question. What is the main reason for not watering a plant before/after a pollination? I'm just curious.

nic if nitrogen problem you should have addressed earlier now only use fish or seaweed. it can still correct deficiency depending on severity. billium around pollination and after always keep soil damp for max benefit.never short them on water.

I have a weak fertilizer solution going through the drip irrigation system every time I water. It has been a week now seems to be improving just took longer to see an effect since it is a weak solution. I guess it is better then adding a whole bunch of fertilizer at once.
