i dont know about you but im real glad the pruning, training and vine burying is starting to show in the rear view mirror. i was getting sick of working on my knees along with a shovel, pruning knife and bucket of myco/rootshield/potash.

growing a monster is what we all strive to accomplish.theres a lot of work getting to this point in the season so lets all wish ourselves a great july, august and september of healthy plants, great daily gains, thick walls and a strong finish in september.

to quote marv levy " where would you rather be than right here, right now ?"

best of luck to all growers.

Pap, I agree. This is my first year and I must say there is alot of work in this awesome hobby.....but very enjoyable.About 75% of my secondaries are terminated so I am close to the finish line as far as vine burying.

I look forward to the measuring for updates....very exciting.....the last (6) days I have averaged 20 lbs per day. This was day 14 through 19. My estimated weight is 172 lbs, 197"OTT at day 19.

Good luck to you too

I'm tired of the burying the vines and laying down the myco. Now the good times will be here the fruits are set and it's just a matter of waiting to see what the stored up labor will do.

I hear ya!!!, 11 plants are starting to wear me down , and I can almost see that finish line!!
It almost seeming like its a chore this year to get things done, rather then enjoying myself out there in the patch. Next year Im going to enjoy myself more and cut back on my plants,,,
you guys that have a wife, girlfriend, or partner that helps you all season long sure are lucky!,,lol.

Dont get me wrong though, my wife will uncover my plants so they dont burn up in their hoops in May, but other then that,,well,,, shes not into get dirty!,,lol

Usually I would have already pulled at least 3 of the 11 of my plants already due to this problem or that problem(not growing good, etc),,, but I haven't pulled not 1 plant yet!!(knock on wood),, they are just growing to good to pull them,,lol!,,so far this has been a weird season for me.

next year,,,5 PLANTS IS ALL IM GROWING!!,,,,,and I mean that,,,really,,,,no kidding,,,seriously,, not kidding ya,, ,,,,,ha!

Brooks,
11 plants?! I can't hardly keep up with 2. I spend 2.5 hours a night MINIMUM. I want to grow 4 next year, but I wonder if that will take the enjoyment out of it. I can't even imagine 11!

Pap,
I agree that I'm glad that the daily grind of trimming, treating and burying is slowing. More time to enjoy the product of our labor.
