i have grown the 682 Rupf 08 on a sidevine, it was a 3 lober, shape was good. It was grown on a 1207 Young
2008 it was my pb.

biz, i grew a 3 lober 5 years ago that did just fine for me at that time. back then 600-800 pounds was big for me and i produced one pumpkin 697 pounds and one 650 lbs both from the same seed that year. the 697 was a 5 lober and the 650 was the 3 lober and not much difference in weight. it was the only one to set before the main snapped so i had to go with it. i was happy with the results at the that time. the shape was not the best at all but i not sure this is the same for other pumpkins with 3 lobes. you can see the weird 3 chambers distinctly in these old pics.

and because i enjoyed going back in time for this post, i had to throw in this pic from that year's diary as well of me celebrating patch supremecy with my old growing buddy Timmer. i am glad to see i was just as whacky 5 years ago as i am today. lol.
