I'm growing in Fresno and wondering if anyone is growing AGs in this region that would be willing to give me a male flower. I have a female (my only one so far) in a perfect spot ready to open in the next few days but no males close to opening. I've put a lot of work in my patch this year but would hate to see it disappear because I didn't have pollen. I could drive to somewhere else in the region to pick up a flower, maybe friday evening.

Thank you. You are proof that pumpkin people are the nicest! I found 1 male flower tonight that is starting to change color and might have pollen ready for the opening of the female. I'm exiting panic mode. I might be ok. I will definitely email you if the flowers don't line up at the right time. This year is so strange. Last year I had 7-10 male flowers ready any time a female one showed up.

Sorry, clumsy me Is it possible to germinate with any pumpkin plant or would it affect the end result for this season?
