Hello I know this site is about growing the biggest pumpkins, watermelons, etc but i am hoping to try something different. I am wanting to grow the absolute tallest kentucky wonder pole bean plants possible. I dont care about bean production i just want to grow it as tall as possible. Anyhow i am hoping that some people here can contribute information that may transfer over to growing beans. Any information would be helpful. So far i have a trellis erected to the height of 32 feet. Now i just need to do what i can to encourage them to drow that high. Thanks and looking forward to a good conversation. Fred

Pull the beans off when young or the flowers off before pollination. Spray weekly with a fungicide to prevent blight.
