My 690 Jager 09* (1055 Pitura x 1310 Pitura) was 3 Lober. If a nice form and also steady walls had. These also were more than 600 Seeds in it.

I had one on mine, the first one at about 4ft. a few days later I pulled one off and it was a perfect 5 lober.

Buddy, I was just looking at Don Young's 2009 Grower Diary and I found that on one of his 1207 Young plants he had a 3 lober. Not sure how it did.... Maybe he could help you?

Heres the link(copy and paste)- www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=110289

Hope this helps and Grow'm Big!!

I had a 3 lober on one last year too, it was 1026 Young. It was an 'after the fact' that I missed culling until it bloomed. I posted a pic in the 2009 diary... http://www.bigpumpkins.com/diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=111858

Buddy G-
I cannot figure out why growers think 3-lobe pumpkins are ‘bad’. Not many people have grown big pumpkins on 3-lobe flowers simply because 3-lobe flowers are not all that common.

Take a look at this 3-lobe pumpkin through the season…

There are also these other fine 3-lobe pumpkins:

1287 Gansert
