I'm convinced cucumber beetles like the taste of garlic spray/pharm/barrier. I tried it for three days, and after every increase in dose, the CB's about doubled in numbers. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I'm disappointed in the stuff.

I'm using MOSQUITO BARRIER 99.3% garlic. I haven't seen a C.B. yet(Fingers crossed). I'll see how this works thru the summer.I do have a back up plan if I see something I don't like.

Garlic doesn't kill CBs but it repels them like mad. Use it in combination with conventional insecticides.

Tremor, that sounds like a good idea. Better safe than sorry.

Buy some garlic bulbs at the store and make your own for a $ 1.00. Making my own, I don't see any cuke bugs in two years

Perhaps we have more of the Italian loving Cuke Beetles here, but the garlic spray we used worked for three days and then they were back feasting again. Smells real good though!
