I know evenings are the best time to spray but I leave for work at 7pm so spraying any ferts, fungicides, or insecticides is out of the question for me.

When is the next best time to spray?
If mornings are ok at all.....how early and how far up should the sun not be?

If for some reason I can't spray the evening I want(because of rain or something) I spray just as the sun is coming up over the horizon but thats just me.

What time do you get home from work ? and is it light enough out then to see what your doing ? -- If so I'd probably spray then (figure you want them to have time for the spray to soak in before it gets too hot)- if you just got off work it's probably easier to do it then, then trying to wake up around sunrise to go out and spray !

i spray right before dark with fungiside in fact just did my first batch this year with daconil it worked good for my pumpkins and tomatos last season an hour before dark,ferts i spray around the sun when everything is shadind and cooling of 3 pm -6 pm for me in south jersey and i also do not water the same day i fertilize my plants maybe a day later or a day after a good soaking but i water my tomatos every 2 -3 days hope that helps pizza

If you spray in the morning it will get in the flowers and kill bees unless it is so early the flowers are closed.

THE SPRAY SHOULD DRY before sun rise to avoid burning.
