Have they shown up on long island yet? Where can I buy merit on long island? I cant find Bayer tree and shrub anywhere. So far I have sprayed Sevin last week and this week I have my svb trap set up today I sprayed bonaire mine borer I have also spread a bunch of ortho slug and insect bait all over the place.
The only bugs that are left out there are the earwigs Most of them seem to be dying a horrible death I had a earwig infestation this year. It seems to be getting much better but they are still around. those little bastards are hard to kill. even if you step on them as soon as you lift your foot they run away, unharmed. and I have a size 10 1/2 shoe. Anyway, the ones that I see now seem to be in extreme pain.
Any suggestions on the earwigs would be welcome
Also, and most important, where can I get merit on Long Island? I want to kill those svb`s before its to late.

Found my first SVB of the season resting on a squash leaf today. Spray.

I understand what the males look like.
What do the females look like?

They generally look the same but the females always seem to have shopping bags.
