Subject: co2 helping with leaf burn?

We have had high temps. and low humidity over the past few days. In years past it is these conditions when my plants get a lot of burnt leafs. Could it be the weekly applications of co2 that is making a difference this season? Anyone else with similar results?

When the new leaves are growing slowly they are much more tolerant of a hot day or two....
