With all the heat and rain it almost feels like Florida instead of Ohio this summer.

It's disease weather. I always use my lilacs as a powdery mildew indicator & they have PM already, earliest ever.

No PM yet but I am battling downy mildew on my marrow. Weather is not helping the Ortho curing the plant. Next week is looking nice and dry though :)

i just read that talstar one is an insecticide that mixes nicely with daconil. that mix with a little humic acid thrown in will be in the stihl fogger this everning here...as long as it isn't raining again. this is also a very good time to start checking on stumps earlier than normal. not a bad idea to make sure stumps are pruned cleaned and covered from the rain with a small patio table or a don young plexiglass set up. this kind of wet damp high humidity atmosphere is perfect for set up of all kinds of fungus. the mildew and fungus doesn't know it is still middle june cuz it sure feels like the middle of july. how many of you have mushrooms popping up all over that you have never seen before? i have them all around the property.
