In Body Building, they have juicers and naturals, it’s your choice. And no one thinks more or less of the other and the juicers don’t hide the fact they use steroids. Because they’re so confident of their routines and hard work, they thrive on the challenged. Pop-up a 16 inch biceps and mock other juicer, this is what you’ll look like when you know what you’re doing.

What I find interesting is how, by trying to keep Greenman from becoming a member of the site or if he is, stop him from trying to use loaded dice on natural growers, who don’t know any better, juicers who juice their plants don’t want anyone to know they do? I would have thought the opposite, like in Boby Building, there’s no glory in beating a natural, who doesn’t know any better especially.

Fine, if juicers want to hide it and other growers are so naïve and uninformed as to believe they don’t, I’m definitely on the wrong site and the wrong growers. When the juicers stop being afraid of a little fair and honest competition, someone else mail me.
Until then, I guess I’ll just have to start e-mailing all the news stations the truth, so they won’t be fooled this Fall either. I won’t allow good people and good growers to go on being made to inferior any longer. Just so a few can gain and profit.

OK this isn't MLB, NFL, NCAA, OLYMPICS, or any other form of sport. This is pumpkin growing, big pumpkin growing mind you. There is NO RULES saying you can't do whatever to make your pumpkins grow big. This is a fun hobby with a touch of competition IF you enter it in a local contest. If you call using "steroids" is cheating, then you "hybrid seeds" is cheating. I am new to this site and growing pumpkins. I really don't care if yout 12 or 80 yrs old, this isn't a sport, this isn't high school, this is good ol' fun. So just relax, and just focus on YOUR patch and not others.

sooner or later no one will take Jack's bait any more. he is fishing for attention. no response is the only right response in my opinion. with that i am contradicting myself with this post, but it will be my last on a giant jack thread.

An Internet troll is someone who posts offensive, controversial, or divisive material on an Internet community. Trolls are an unfortunately common occurrence on many communities across the Internet, and there are various steps which can be taken to combat them. If you are currently struggling with an Internet troll, the best thing to do is to walk away, since trolls feed on attention, and they will usually disappear if they are ignored.

The evolution of the Internet troll was a slow process which began as computer users started to more widely adopt the Internet. At first, the term referred merely to someone who was “trolling” for a response or opinion, in the same way that fishing boats cast out large nets to troll for a catch. Over time, trolls grew more aggressive, and the term began to be used specifically to refer to someone irritating or hurtful. In this sense, a troll could be compared to the nasty creatures of Scandinavian mythology which are also known as trolls.

There are a number of different types of trolls. In the most classic case, a troll harasses an Internet community for a few weeks, posting contradictory opinions or statements on bulletin boards in an attempt to stimulate a response. Internet trolls are differentiated from people who genuinely wish to present a different viewpoint by their attitudes and aggressiveness; their goal is not to discuss a situation, but to frustrate the members of a discussion board.
They often use fallacious arguments or attack the users of a site when they attempt to defend themselves from the troll's activities

Jack, my advice is to hang it up = FIDO! Your reputation isn't for being a bad grower, it is for crazy post like this! People are thinking you are parinoid!

Aside from not being against the rules, aside from it being common in agricultural practice, think about what you are saying. What you are saying is kelp has sterols so that needs to be illegal. Alfalfa has TRI so is illegal? Can't say that is OK because those are natural as most of what you are complaining about is natural. Illegal because it enhances growth? Well then, that makes N-P-K illegal ... organic additives illegal ... hybrid seed illegal. After you have made everything illegal, now comes about the question as to how do you test for it at contests? Well thats easy, if you grew one you grew one illegally! Yea, this sounds crazy, but that is how you are talking!

I do think NAA. IBA, IAA, BR, 6BA, ICCU, GA3-4-7-9-13, BAP, TRI, CY, kinetin, zeatin, nucleclic acids, tRNA receptors ... is all worthy of discussion, but not in this point of view, but in plant phisology.

Hell Jack just spit it out and we can all grow world records! If you know the secrets why havent you used them? If you were to grow a thumping WR you would get a lot more attention & respect.

Gads, SWdesert,

a troll will never answer a direct question that is asked to him,(one main reason is because they dont know the answer) instead they will make another new post on the exact same topic again..(which is exactly what this guy is doing(hes posted what?,,, 4 new posts on this exact same subject already in the last 24 hrs?)

Hes doing exactly what hes setting out to do to growers on this site, and thats start controversial post topics on everything he posts about.

He knows that using any type product for growing pumpkins isn't cheating, he just uses the words '' growers are cheating'' to get a rise out of the growers on this site.
He knows 99% of growers out there are honest and great people, so it makes it easy for him to start controversy and to bring negitive attention to himself to get a response that he is after.

Google Internet troll and read up on it,,, it describes this guy to a ''T''.
And then do a pb.com site search on every topic this guy has ever posted about in the last couple years , you will then see what this guy is all about.

Posts like this are about as anoying as waking up and finding out that a Woodchuck has eatened all of the new leaves on your plant but didnt even touch your traps.

Below is a paste from a Google search about "trolls" Is this you Giant Jack?

Why do trolls do it?
I believe that most trolls are sad people, living their lonely lives vicariously through those they see as strong and successful.

Disrupting a stable newsgroup gives the illusion of power, just as for a few, stalking a strong person allows them to think they are strong, too.

For trolls, any response is 'recognition'; they are unable to distinguish between irritation and admiration; their ego grows directly in proportion to the response, regardless of the form or content of that response.

Trolls, rather surprisingly, dispute this, claiming that it's a game or joke; this merely confirms the diagnosis; how sad do you have to be to find such mind-numbingly trivial timewasting to be funny?

Remember that trolls are cowards; they'll usually post just enough to get an argument going, then sit back and count the responses (Yes, that's what they do!).
