Today i noticed that my vine split right where it comes out of the ground. Caused from it laying down. The split is about halfway through the vine. What's the best thing to do now?

This happened to me today also. I tried to support it and gave it some water, came back a few hours later and everything compeltely wilted, and the vine broke the rest of the way off......completely destroyed. Good luck :/
