my 901 hunt has no main -I`ve been growing for over ten years now and have never seen this-has any one?and theres no blooms either

Here I thought having another potential flat vine to deal with was a big problem. Hard to believe the plant will just terminate itself now, really odd none the less.

I had a 1446 Eaton do that. No matter how much I pruned it just grew like a shrub, I ended up yanking it.

That's too bad Rob. Sometimes it happens. I've never seen it, but I did have a 842 Eaton that self terminated it's main at 10' a few years ago. We had to train a secondary to keep it going. Hopefully I'll have a replacement for you next year, as we are remaking the cross while there is the seeds to do it. 1093 Hunt & 898 Knauss are very rare now.

thats great to hear Phil I ,really had my heart set on that plant -my buddy still has the other one ,so i`ll be able to get pollin ,from it ,it was going to be my main pollinater,and still is ,his 901 looks great !is your 898 up or is it a clone?
