My plants have recovered from the ping pong ball sized hail we had a week or so ago but a couple leaves sure show the damage. I think I should cut them off..am I right? Also should I treat the cut site with some fungicide? Thanks, Croley

I believe that if a leaf is still alive, it is still doing its job, maybe not like before, but better than if it is cut off. Just my 2 cents.

Mizz bend, I would leave the leaves, at least until some new growth get's started a little!!! Whenever pruning anything, I carry a restaurant style ketchup bottle,(you know w/ the pointed top) filled w/ captan powder, and give a puff or two to the new cut!!! Hope yer recovery goes well!!! Peace, Wayne

I use the captan bottle and a 1" wide paint brush. I would keep the leave too.
