Twelve feet? Jees, we're barely out to two with all our cold we've had this Spring.

Hi Guys
I'm glad to hear your 901s are doing well. Our 901 is doing very well also. It's always been a slow starter, but once it gets going, it's a freight train. Make sure you are consistant with your watering & fert program throughout the season & you'll be rewarded come weigh off time. Thanks again for the updates & for giving the seed a chance. Good luck, we're cheering for you.

Hey Wayne
I hope all is well in the patch. The 901s that we have left are pretty rough looking. They still germinate, as we used the worst looking seeds we had & they came up fine. They don't look to good & wouldn't be good enough for the auction. Send me a BP & I'll send you a couple to try for 2011. Good news is that we are going to remake the cross this season. Hopefully there will be lots of seeds to go around.
Our 901 is @ 6'+ & is showing a female on the tip. If it is 9'+ out by pollination time, then we'll pollinate it. We'd like to have a couple more secondary vines before the fruit, so we'll see what happens. It is only June 1st & we are way ahead of last year's pace.
Thanks again to all that are giving it a try this year. We really appreciate it. Good luck, we're cheering for you all to grow one bigger than our's from last year.

Wayne, addy sent. Thanks for the kind words Rob, I really appreciate it. We love to share our seeds & are honored when someone wants to grow them. It gives us great satisfaction to help & then later hear of their success in the patch. It's almost better than growing a big one ourselves. Almost. LOL. Good luck guys.
