i try to snip/pinch most of mine off.....waste of energy i have read.

i think they are on there to help anchor the plant though.

I leave them on to anchor the vines to my stakes. They're so tiny, they don't take away much growth. Cut them as soon as they cling to any leaves or other vines though.

I leave them on to about 7' of main, they often will help plant lay down and anchor (okay so I have a few small weed issues) then I start trimming after I can get enough plant to stake down well. Trim anything grabbing what it shouldn't and anything in the way of vines laying down.

I remove all tendrils. They do help stabilize the vines so you need to bury/ support them (vines) right away. Removal of tendrils/ wounding of the vines helps promote secondary root growth!

I remove tendrils. Why give up plant energy to something that doesn't really help the fruit. Besides, they end up winding around leaf stems and creating potential damage to plant later.

When you say remove the tendrils, would that be right at the vine or just the curley ends?? Thanks
