Under the area, heat cable. IN the hole besides the amendments already put in, RTI Symbios myco... a sprinkle in the hole and a few pinches mixed into the backfill dirt. Then add one truely righteous pumpkin plant, backfill, and water. In a week it starts tasting half strength soluable kelp...

Dead Pirahna's, suppose to make the plant more agressive. But serouisly (I seriously can't spell) Liquid fish emulsion, seaweed, mixed in myco.

OkieGal-do you use the kelp as a foliar or a drench

Both depending on how I mix it. When plant is small I drench NEAR the plant. Never spray anything on the stump area. Later I will mix as a foliar and apply in evening at 2 hours to dark, so plant can dry. If I mix say fish and kelp, I apply that as a drench.
