the hearty ag plant

twas the night after planting and all through the land
my baby seedlings rested, according to plan

huts were like castles dotting the patch
lights, heating cables and even a latch

on jutras, on wallace, on urena,i began to shout
grow me a plant thas both sturdy and stout

when out from the north the sky became black
oh please lord i thought , cut me some slack

first it hailed ,then it rained
but that wind was ah blowin like a friggin express train

checked all my stakes and felt quite secure
these huts would stand up to anything, for sure.

went to bed feeling quite content
aint no way these huts would relent

that next morning i awoke to disaster
each hut rolled into the woods like so much plaster

i ran to the patch expecting the unseating
surely no plant could survive this beating

but to my amazement there they stood.
they may have been twisted ? but they all looked good.

i reflected back during seasons end
having but one message to send

never give up,never give in
that little plant knows how to win

Yeah, They are hardier than you think. My 1385 clone plant did not look that good when I planted it five days ago but after a two days of not looking at because I did not want cold air in the hoop it really perked up. Although it is a 1385 and I hear they are vigorous.
