When I mix myco into the soil when transplanting my AG's does it degrade if it isn't in contac with the roots? I know some will be touching the roots immediately but what about the soil the roots haven't reached yet. Does the myco remain dormant until then? Or should I just put a little of the myco directly on the roots when transplanting?

The myco stays active a good 3 months. Just sprinkle it in the planting hole and put your plant in is good. Some will contact the roots and the roots will grow into too.

You inoculate the root area with it and it helps your roots grow. (thats a very rough discription) put myco in the search bar and there will be all kinds of discriptions of mycorrihizal. (probably spelt that wrong)

Does it have any effect if added after the plant is already established? For example, add it to the top of the soil and not to the roots directly? It does or does not "leech" down to the roots?
