please take a look at my diary and tell me if this might be a good way to grow 2 plants in a 30 x 30 patch

That area you have pictured looks WAY to small for 2 plants in my opinion.

You have the tiller there, Till out some more area on both sides to make you more room, its only grass your tilling up,,lol

Two small for two plants. Till up more of your lawn on one end to try and make your patch 30 x 50 then you will have room for two plants. plus it will give you less lawn to mow every week

It's a good way to plant 2, then cull to one while giving yourself the maximum amount of time to make that decision.

This also may make the decision harder and increase your heartbreak at the killing time, lol.

You need more space. You have plenty of space till more and you'll have the space needed.

Im not looking to grow one of those 1000 lbers just would like a couple 400lbers and wed be happy this year. This is all new to use last year was a 96lber think this is doable?

We grew 6 pumpkins in a 27 x 30 plot. There were 2 plants. our smallest was 559, the largest was 756. It is possible to do what you are asking. I would listen to the growers that have already answered as these are some of the best. They have the best intrest of the plants in mind as a crowded patch leaves alot of room for disease and pest...
