same here...pumpkin mounds are islands. Drove the Mule out there earlier and it was more like a boat ride!

I'd take some of that rain out here if it would stop these darn Winds we're having !!! 4 straight days of 30MPH+ winds with gusts up to 60+ is really getting tiring !

Same here, my patch is a mud pit. On a happy note my hoop house is holding up well!

We get rain and we get wind, sometimes both at once. Hope y'all can persevere, best of luck this season!

Hang in there. In 2008 my patch was a swamp until July. Wettest season on record. I ended up with a personal best.

That last round of storms got me. It was raining so hard I could hardly see the hoop but I could see plastic flapping and assumed the worst. Thats what I get for bragging on it! When the weather calmed down I went to check and it wasnt bad at all. Only one end blew off and part of the top slid back. The vines dont seem to be damaged at all! I was EXTREMELY lucky! Flooding here is horrible, news said 15 inches of rain in 2 days. the road leading to my house is closed along with a lot of other roads in the county. Moms house flooded, had to bring her here (shes 80) several of my family members have had to evacuate their homes but we are just thankful they are all ok. Hope everyone stays safe :) Tammy
