I was looking on extremepumpkinstore and saw a flourescent grow light fixture. I was wondering is this a good one to use? and does it come with bulbs or what bulbs do i need? Thanks for any help.

I just bought a 4' flourescent light fixture that fits 2 4' bulbs (cost less than $10) and 2 4' flourescent sunshine or daylight bulbs (these provide a full spectrum light and cost just a small bit more than the regular flourescent tubes but still less than $10 for 2 of them ) at Lowes -- so less than $20 for the setup and it included a chain to hang them with and the cord.

I also did the same as JDFan, and they work very well. No legginess at all, my plants look great.

I used a very similar setup, but I used 1 standard light and one aquarium/plant light. Since I already had the light with regular bulbs in it, I only had to buy the plant one.
Keep the light close -- about 4 inches away, and they will get enough light (won't get "leggy").

No stand -- but 2 small chains and I believe a 6 foot cord with a grounded plug (might have been shorter) - I had a wire shelving unit that I hung the fixture from the top shelf and then adjusted the lower shelf as needed to get the right height - but should be fairly easy to make a stand if you needed to out of scrap material you have laying around.

Here's a good pic of one way to use them that I just saw in the growers diaries -- http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=129275
