Last year I did'nt get around to spraying for squash vine borers until the middle of July, by then borers had killed a plant or most of it, not this year, I'm ready and it won't be over looked. Is there anything that can easily be overlooked, or forgot that you can think of?

Laying some Merit down as you get ready to plant out, to kill off the grubs. Here we are grub to grub 3" down otherwise, and they grow up to be beetles and other ilk.

Put your greenhouses out early to warm the soil AND to hatch out anything living in the soil weeks or days before putting your plants in or else the new hatch will have something to feed on.

Test fire the handgun and make sure the kevlar still fits are on my agenda. Stevens knows this is true. He's the only one thats been in my patch and lived to tell about it!

I'm on top of the first list Pap. The second list is still a work in progress. Hope I can bring a big one to Frerich's this year.

Do not spray roundup in the wind. Also, watch your step.

Keep the growing tip of your main vine under control so it doesn't grow so high into the air it snaps.
