I use a product called Hormodin1 that is 0.1% active ingredient (Indole-3-butyric Acid) vs 0.55% in the "Rootech". I think the "Rootech" product is to concentrated for herbaceous plants (like pumpkins and tomatoes). With plant hormones more is not always better.
Link to label for product I am using: http://www.ohp.com/Labels_MSDS/PDF/hormodin1_label.pdf
Picture of how I am using it: http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=126617
Results I have had using this rooting hormone as part of my prorogation system: http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=127709

I use Clonex. I've used many different rooting hormones over the years and feel this is the best. Two years ago I rooted over 2500 cuttings of various flowers and herbs for the greenhouse with a greater than 97% success rate.
You can also make your own rooting hormone by steeping the new growth of willow branches in hot water as you would tea.
Nice job rooting those pumpkin vines Matt !

I am using Clonex gel, and it is working and worth the $ I paid. About to stick third round of tomato clones, and have some bouganvilla that are in progress....
Thanks Duane for that recommendation.
