I'm new to this - I planted 2 seeds indoors in peat pots on April the 11th...yesterday. Should I have waited until the 15th of April?

call them your test seeds, and start the real ones on the 25th at least.

If you have hoop houses wait until April 20-24. If you have no hoop houses wait until may 5 to start seeds. It might be warm out now but don't be fooled- we had a hard frost on May 14th last year.

Hi bizzy lizzy, I'm in Central PA too. I would say its a bit early, but with the weather we're having in Central PA this year I'd say you might be okay. In a typical year however I'd wait until the last week of April to start your seeds.
What town are you located in or near lizzy?
