Sad, sad news. Paul's wife just called me to tell all the pumpkin growers that Paul passed away this morning after working in his pumpkin patch. He had been tilling with his John Deere tractor.

I met Paul in Niagara last year after talking and such over the internet a while before. Great guy. He'd give you his shirt off his back if you needed it and always had great things to say about his patchmate Cindy. I just got the sad news today and it’s another loss for our club and the pumpkin growing community. Paul was a good man and always ready to talk pumpkins. He did a lot for the club and was always ready to help out where he could. It was just a week ago he was at the Club meeting talking about how excited he was to get this year started.
