Is there enough interest in a Hot Weather Pumpkin Growers Club? This would be open to anyone but focused on say all the US States that touch Mexico or the Gulf of Mexico. And throw in Oklahoma for good measure. Seems like growing giant pumpkins is a little different down here resulting in lower records. It would be good to have a club to help us raise each others' game. Maybe we could call it just 'Hot Pumpkin Growers Club'. Everyone would want that T-Shirt.

we are atarting a WET WEATHER CLUB here in little Rhode Island.

joe jutras will head up our first seminar with a piece called " POWER BOATING BOATING THE PATCH", followed right after with a special feature " BLOW DRYING AND TOP SOIL RECLAIMATION PROJECTS MADE EASY " by ron wallace.

I heard the gene splicing is going well, they will have the rice/pumpkin cross breeding true very soon... made for wet ground. :)

I don't know about other groups but we do have a club here, only one in Oklahoma, I think. One of the other growers downstate tried to organize an OK club last year...
