hey tremor hope all is well!!!
unfortunately i didn't know you had ms.gotta tell you a story.
some 30 years ago i had a friend who talked me into doing a run-walkathon for ms. i was about 11 or 12 at the time. i went around the nieghborhood and got some sponsors. if i remeber right bruce jenner was king. must of been '76,'77,'78 any way i remember seeing him on a magazine me and my friend talked about how cool that was anyway we went to eugene,or. and ran our hearts out. we had our picture put in the springfield times (which my mom still has a copy).
three special things happened that day.
1 i helped support a good cause.
2 i got in the paper
3 i met someone special( of course i didn't know it at the time) at the end of the run my friend told me about someone selling shoes out of the trunk of his car. so we went over to check out the shoes, tried some on. i think at the time i only had 30 or 40 cents for lunch money on me. he was asking 8 dollars for a pair of shoes. so i had to pass on the shoes. come to find out later he was "bill nike".

ok the guys name was bill bowerman not bill nike. always called him bill nike 'cause he started nike corp.
