Seems to me reviewing and approving every picture is labour intensive. Why not just have the pictures go right in and have a "report abuse" button? Seems like a good bunch here. Other option is to require picture approval for people that have less than 100 posts?
Any thoughts?

There have been a few incidents in the past where inappropriate photos have been posted and then viewed by children. This is not acceptable. There are currently four different people doing the approvals. I could add more if people think the delay is too long.

I will consider the "trusted" users are automatic approach. Perhaps this could be a feature for the "Premium Membership"?

I like the idea of screening, I realy like the site and glad that it is kept clean. This is a family orentated hobby and should be kept that way. If you want to make some of the pics automatic down load the people should have been here a long time and you know who only post decent pic.My 9 year old likes to look at the pumpkin pics just as much as I do. Ken and his helpers are doing a great job. A big thank you !!!!goes to them all. and keep up the good work.
I realy like reading the new post every day.
This is the first place I come to after work,to get a few laughs and talk to people that are adicted to this hobby as much as I am.

Yes, the screening is the only way to go. My young boys (6 and 8) have to read 10-15 min a day for school. They like to read through the diaries which is one of the best ways to learn this great hobby.
