Hi I am doing a radio debate this afternoon here in Australia in regards to big pumpkin growing. What has happened is a politician has won a local competion (well done to him) with a 304kg pumpkin and claiming it as the biggest in the state of Queensland Australia. What created a storm is when I posted a picture of my 330.4 kg squash I grew in 2004in the same state. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=16515 I am doing the debate because it is great to get pumpkin growing in the media. What I am chasing is how many years straight did the world record get broken? I am going with the angle that it is the 'biggest' extreme sport in the world and pumpkin growers due to their improvement in pb's are the elete athletes of the world. any other info you think could get a laugh would be appreciated as well. Cheers Clinton
