Last year $3420 was awarded to 24 Giant Pumpkin Growers in October, through the SNGPG members Virtual Weigh-off. This year there will be 27 winners through two contests and the pot increased to $3945. If you would like to participate this year or see last years winner/entrant list, send an email to [email protected], and we'll send you the details. We had a good year in 2009 and we are just trying to give back to the Growers. Its a pretty good deal, for 1 year of SNGPG membership, plus of course all our email news, informative Newsletters and entry into the Frerichs Farm Weigh-off.

I would like to offer a comment to my many friends here on big pumpkins.This is a great club for the new grower as well as the seasoned veteran.

As our current membership already knows, the Southern New England Giant Pumpkin Growers newsletters are extremely informative. With top grower interviews, unique grower interviews, new products review, with all the cutting edge up to date information a grower needs to help increase growing edcuation and experience.

The SNGPG Virtual Weigh-off last year was very exciting for its over three hundred membership plus, as Steve mentioned our clubs directors have added an additional free contest for it members in 2010.

Great Job Guys! The SNGPG never ceases to impress!!
A great group of growers, always willing to share tips and tecniques, The Newsletters are top notch and If you have the chance, try to make it to Frerichs Farm Weigh-off, this was an all around great time, we are making it a "must do" from here on out.
