The GPC is proud to announce the placement of Lisa Irwin as member at large covering the future interests of the GPC in the fast growing regions of Canada East and North America.

Lisa joined the Port Elgin staff in October 2004, in this role, since 2006 she has managed Port Elgin Pumpkinfest and the International Giant Vegetable Growers Convention. She is well versed in sponsorship, grant writing, media relations, logistic and marketing planning, Lisa continues to oversee all other aspects of the festival. She first began volunteering at the festival 17 years ago, and spent two of those years as a member of the Board of Directors. She has a background in public relations and the service industry; combined with those skills her knowledge of GPC will make Lisa a great asset to the executive.

Lisa has received unanimous support from the current voting members of the GPC executive. Her duties will help the executive committee as the GPC moves forward into future new opportunities throughout the World.
