Are there any chess players going to Niagara this year? Something to do while drinking beer and socializing perhaps? I am no good a pumpkin seed poker but pumpkin seed speed chess might be more fun.

Sorry to jack your thread Ken, but i've heard of this pumpkin seed poker at Niagara before. What do I need to bring to play? any particular seeds? or just bring a whole stash?

In years past Bill Bobier was the guy to talk to about pumpkin seed poker. Just bring a few seeds and your best poker face!

I think I can remember one year when the 991 Urena was a non proven seed there was 'ALOT' of his seed put in the pot that night for players to play pumpkin poker with.
(I think Leonardo ether loss some or just donated over 50 or 100 seed for players to play with to be won. ( does anyone recall this?,,Im pretty sure it was the 991 Urena seed right?)

But there is alot of great seed to be won at the table each year thats for sure. Sure wish I was going....

How about Pumpkin seed horse shoes, or Pumpkin Seed Darts....havent figured out the details, but nothing like a couple hundred, umm...whats the word we are looking for... "hospitalitied" growers tossing around dangerous objects around to make the night fun....lmoa...I'd bet just the idea of this is making The Pumpkinfest Girl cringe...lol!
