a Mouse found my Pumpkin seed drawer. Ate about 100 seeds. I was sweating blood when I saw the chewed up envelopes. I keep my favorite seeds in the front of the draw as I'm always taking them out to look at them again and again. The mouse or mouses hit the seeds at the back of the drawer were I keep my crapie seeds mostly my own old crosses. I never lost one of my better seeds PHEW!!! But I did lose my unque 412 turner seeds that threw on average 250 females per plant (male female ratio mixed up). I have since set several hundred mouse traps of different sorts, matter of fact I can no longer move from my chair here by the computer. Seeds are now in my Gun Safe. with traps, Poison and loaded guns ready. (guns not really loaded). ;)

keep them seeds in the freezer they will last longer!!! when you plant the other seeds they will attract other mice because they have mouse scent on them and when the pumpkin grows the mice will eat the pumpkin. lol. trust me i had a mouse eat 2 pounds off my pumpkin last year!!! lol. i couldof moved up a rank on that pumpkin.

Mr. T , my dad had the same exact thing happen to him with his 1385 x self seeds. He left them in the garage(which i warned him not to do) to dry on a screen. Three days later he noticed most of his seeds was all gone,,lol!!
I know it wont matter now if you find your seeds, , but if you find their nest , you will find most of your seeds,,lol

I can beat that! about 3 weeks ago, I found out that a mouse had built a rather large home (nest) made out of leaves, grass, cigarette butts and styrofoam in my engine bay that caused my radiator to rot out. I had the rad let go while I was on the highway. It cost me $1200 to fix my car...If I ever find that critter...
