OK....I'll admit it...organization of physical stuff isn't on of my strong points.

Some new CT growers have been clamoring for seeds. The SASBE's got here. We're still weeks away from growing in CT but noobs don't like to wait so....

This morning Stephen helped me move the file cabinet so I could search our "unfrozen seeds" that are stored under my desk...

Among the many jars and bubble envelopes were some fairly desirable bubbles...That gold mylar bubble of Bill Northrup...Wallace bubble....Jutras bubble....Andrews....etc

Low & behold...not one but TWO 1385.5 JUTRAS 2007 seeds!!!

THE HOLY GRAIL TIMES TWO!!

...Hand signed original taped coin unopened coin envelope...

I immediately called Joe but he hasn't called back yet...

Grow one?
Offer it back to Joe?
Donate it to our 2011 auction?

Remember that I asked Joe for the 1385 that we sold at this year's CT GS&PGA auction. Neither one of us knew about these two seeds back then...

This is not an offer to trade or sell so please don't even ask.

Second though,Joe would tell you to give one to me. LOL

Here's a cool idea to do with the one seed. Take the names of all the members CURRENTLY in your group & put them in a hat. Draw a winner & he/she gets the option to grow it. Not hold it, trade or sell it. But grow it. You would make one members season.

i think that the most proper thing to do is to send it back to joe...you want to be appriciative but in the same sense...be kind and let him know that two 1385's is just too much.....if you know where im coming from !

If Joe would like one in return for the one he sent your club this year send him one, if not I would say you have 2 1385's to do with what you wish. They were probably sent to you long before the 1385 became what it is today.

Grow the seeds and make crosses. Make a 1116 Traylor. Joe's 2007 seeds have the WR 998 pollen. I have the same 07 package and will continue to breed in the 998WR genes...

I say grow one Steve, and ask Joe about the other one.

But you saved them 1385's for a gut instinct that you was dead on and right about.
So someone or something is telling you to grow one, CANT YOU SEE THE SIGN??,,HAHA! and id say it would be for your personal best this year.

That seed I feel (in your beefed up soil) will give you that 1000 plus lber I been hoping you would grow for the last 3 or 4 years,,lol,,(well at least thats what I predicted every year,,ha!),, your kid will have a blast watching that monster grow! so grow it ole bud!!
