Will we have The Swap, again? I had such fun last year... so even if I couldn't go up north, I could still enjoy that weekend.

As I remember someone organized and others sent what they wanted to offer up. The quasi auction went like: the one running announced what was up for grabs, and everyone had three minutes to make offers. Could be anything for anything. The one offering the swap item had to be there, because after 3 min or so, the offers were closed and they had to pick one of the offers. Then those two sorted out sending stuff.

I know I had no cash at auctions 2008-9 but at the swap I could offer some of my jewelry in return for seeds and things like that. So I managed to have fun anyway.

I'm willing to run it if others are interested. No cash was the only rule. But it could be most anything. Most of the main offers WERE seeds, and I remember a battery powered zapping flyswatter as one thing that was a counter offer...
